Melanie Sotak, MHSA
Joining The Wall Center in March 2015, Melanie is responsible for the day to day operation and oversees the design, development, and strategic plans for The Wall Center for Plastic Surgery Group of Companies. She is a skilled healthcare executive with a proven track record spanning over 15 years in operational and financial healthcare management. "The Wall Center is a destination, high-end practice whose day to day operations reflect our national presence. Administrator and Dr. Simeon Wall Jr.'s Lead Patient Coordinator
Terri has been an essential member of The Wall Center staff since 2001. She has over 15 years of plastic surgery office and surgery center experience and is always ready with an answer if a patient has a question. Terri meets with all of Dr. Wall Jr.'s patients during consultation, schedules all of his surgeries, and answers pre and post-operative questions. She is also responsible for the education materials that the patient receives throughout his or her surgery process. She continuously provides the ultimate level of patient care and achieves that with her highest respect for the physicians and patients. "I strive to make sure that the patient is comfortable not only with me, our physicians and the staff, but that they have a great overall experience. I love helping our patients. I want them to know that I'm always here for them."
Kim has been an integral part of the team at The Wall Center since 2004 and currently serves as the Director of Surgical Services in addition to her role as Lead First Assistant in Surgery. She has over 15 years of plastic surgery experience and frequents other top outpatient plastic surgery centers across the country to keep abreast of new trends in aesthetic outpatient care. During his speaking engagements across the country and around the world, Dr. Simeon Wall Jr. relies on Kim to coordinate, direct, and even assist during his live surgeries. She also researches and evaluates the latest plastic surgery products & devices assuring that our patients experience only the very best in surgical instruments and products on the market. At our state of the art operating suites, Kim maintains our staff and center to the highest level of outpatient care by adhering to AAAASF, Medicare, and State standards. By maintaining these rigorous standards, Kim ensures our patients receive outstanding care from our doctors and staff. Head Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Since 2001, Leslie has been The Wall Center's resident advanced practice registered nurse-CRNA. Leslie has over 30 years of surgical experience and has been working in the Shreveport area since 1979. Leslie's job duties include interviewing the patients pre-operatively, safely delivering top quality anesthesia, and monitoring their vitals post operatively as well. She takes in consideration all of the diverse needs of her patients while paying close attention to their medical history and past experiences with both general and local anesthesia. Leslie, like all of The Wall Center staff, frequently attends continuing education classes and meetings to stay abreast of current aesthetic plastic surgery trends. "Having worked in a variety of hospitals and outpatient surgery centers, I strongly believe that The Wall Center's Surgical Suites is one of the best. The doctors, medical staff, and office staff work hand in hand to ensure our patients have the safest, most optimal surgical experience."
Dr. Michael Lee's Lead Patient Coordinator
Ashton is Dr. Michael Lee's patient coordinator, handling all of his patients' needs from beginning to end. Ashton is responsible for patient education and patient materials during the consultation process as well as scheduling all of Dr. Lee's surgeries, answering patient questions, helping with insurance issues, and making referrals. "Patient care is my number one priority, and working with this great team of doctors is a very fulfilling experience."
Lead Front Office Coordinator
Denise is the vibrant voice on the other end of the line when you call our office, and she is the smiling face that greets you when you walk in. Denise is our lead front office coordinator and is also a certified medical assistant. She is also responsible for answering phone calls, scheduling follow up appointments, and assisting patients with questions and purchases. Denise seeks to make every patient's visit as comfortable and pleasant as possible. "I've always been such a people person, and helping both patients and our team of doctors has been very fulfilling. Seeing patients post-operatively and their amazing results is one of the best parts of my job!"
Breast Implant / Study Coordinator
Angel is responsible for the inventory, tracking, ordering, and coordination of the more than 1500 breast implants used at The Wall Center per year. She also coordinates all of The Wall Center's breast implant studies. Angel received her medical assistant and medical office specialist training from American Commercial College in 2005, and enjoys assisting with post-operative patient care and new patient consultations. "I feel very fortunate to work for a team of surgeons that has such a strong reputation and honorable values."
When patients first check in for their surgery, they may feel nervous or anxious. However, Kim's soothing and welcoming presence quickly puts our patients at ease. She is responsible for examining patients' pre-surgical charts, requesting lab work, and reviewing pre-surgical guidelines with each patient before their surgery. "Making sure patients are comfortable and knowledgeable about their surgery is one of the most important aspects of my job. Working with such a skilled group of surgeons makes me confident that our patients will love their results, and I love seeing the transformation from beginning to end."
Research & Financial Coordinator
Jacqueline can often be seen assisting Dr. Wall Jr. with his latest research. Jacqueline, a graduate of Louisiana State University's biological sciences program, creates and manages The Wall Center's research databases, is responsible for compiling and analyzing data, and is our financial coordinator. Jacqueline reconciles patient accounts and collects surgical fees in addition to her research duties, and can usually be seen running around the office solving problems.
Dr. Holly Wall's Lead Patient Coordinator
Since 2001, Jodi has been working alongside Dr. Holly Wall as patient coordinator for Dr. Wall's busy cosmetic surgery practice in Shreveport. Jodi has over 15 years of experience in caring for all of her patients' needs and is always ready to answer any questions patients may pose. Jodi schedules all of Dr. Holly Wall's surgeries, consults with each new patient, makes referrals, and is a guiding light for all patients. "Working with Dr. Holly Wall and her patients is a rewarding experience I look forward to every day. I feel like my hard work has paid off when I hear positive feedback from patients who have just completed their surgery and are satisfied with their experience."
Dr. Simeon Wall Sr.'s Lead Patient Coordinator
Wendy is Dr. Simeon Wall Sr.'s patient coordinator, armed with a quick wit and happy demeanor at all times. Wendy's responsibilities as coordinator include patient education and meeting with patients during the consultation process, scheduling all of Dr. Wall's surgeries, answering pre and post-surgical questions, and making referrals. She also meets individually with each patient during the consultation process. "Dr. Wall Sr. has over 40 years of plastic surgery experience and has operated on several generations of patients. Meeting the children and grandchildren of patients who are also choosing to have surgery with Dr. Wall is a gratifying experience. I love working for a team of surgeons whose reputations are boundless."
Surgical Registered Nurse
Jenny's calm and patient demeanor is one of the first things you notice about her, especially when it comes to The Wall Center's patients. During clinical hours, Jenny can be seen assisting physicians during consultations, patient education, and also post-operative care. In the surgical suites, Jenny assists Dr. Simeon Wall Jr. and performs pre-operative duties, like administering medications and visiting each patient personally before and after their surgeries. Jenny also checks in with all patients that stay overnight at our luxurious and convenient guest suites. "As a registered nurse, my first priority is always patient care. I love seeing the transformations our patients undergo and how their confidence blossoms when they look as beautiful as they feel."
