In 2019, 3 board-certified plastic surgeons from The Wall Center—Dr. Simeon Wall Sr., Dr. Simeon Wall Jr., and Dr. Holly Casey Wall—were included in Louisiana Life magazine’s Best Doctors issue. The physicians were selected through the Best Doctors peer-review process, in which doctors were asked which specialists they would choose for themselves or a loved one.
At the time, the 3 Wall Center physicians were the only plastic surgeons practicing in northern or central Louisiana included in the issue.

How Were Louisiana’s Best Doctors Selected?
Unlike many other physician awards that require doctors to pay a fee to be listed or allow doctors to vote for themselves, the Best Doctors issue honored specialists nominated by their peers and involved peer review. Thousands of specialists were reviewed, and only a small percentage of those were included in the Best Doctors listings.
Best Doctors undertook the largest continuous peer-to-peer survey of the medical profession to develop the Best Doctors in America® List. That process resulted in Dr. Wall Sr., Dr. Wall Jr., and Dr. Holly Casey Wall being included among the plastic surgeons featured in Louisiana Life’s 2019 Best Doctors issue.
