Preservé breast augmentation is an advanced breast enhancement technique designed to minimize disruption to the breast tissues during placement of Motiva® breast implants. At The Wall Center for Plastic Surgery in Shreveport, Louisiana, Dr. Simeon Wall Jr., Dr. Holly Casey Wall, and Dr. Seth Fruge are trained and certified in the Preservé technique and offer it in select cases when they determine the results will meet their standards and the patient’s desired outcome.
While Preservé has generated significant excitement due to its tissue-preserving approach and short recovery time, it is not suited to every patient. Our surgeons prioritize your anatomy, aesthetic goals, lifestyle, and long-term results over any specific technique. They offer multiple advanced breast enhancement techniques and recommend the one that will help you achieve beautiful, lasting results that fit your body and your expectations.

Preservé is a breast augmentation technique developed for use with Motiva breast implants, which received FDA approval in 2024 through research contributed by Dr. Simeon Wall Jr. and Dr. Holly Casey Wall. As Principal Investigators in the Motiva FDA approval study, our surgeons have been using Motiva implants since 2018 and are instructors for Motiva both in Costa Rica and the United States. Regarding the Preservé procedure, our surgeons use specialized technology that gently tunnels through tissues to create a precisely sized space for the implant above the chest muscle, rather than creating the implant pocket through surgical dissection.
Potential benefits may include:
Individual results and recovery experiences vary from patient to patient.

It has been our experience that the best candidates for Preservé are at least 18 years old, in good health, and meet the following criteria:
Many patients considering Preservé discover that another approach may better achieve their desired results, especially when larger implant sizes are desired, when noticeable asymmetry or thin tissue coverage is present, or when there is significant breast sagging (ptosis). Our surgeons are truly experts at determining which procedure will best meet the aesthetic goals.
Preservé is just one of the advanced breast augmentation techniques available at The Wall Center. Because individual patient anatomy and aesthetic goals differ, our surgeons focus on matching each patient with the procedure that will provide the most attractive, natural-looking, and long-lasting result.
Preservé minimizes disruption to the breast tissues during implant placement. This technique uses Motiva implants exclusively and may be appropriate for patients seeking a modest increase in breast size whose natural breast anatomy is suited to the technique.
Developed and refined at The Wall Center, modified dual-plane breast augmentation addresses limitations associated with traditional dual-plane techniques. Our surgeons use this approach to ensure breast implants, whether Motiva, Mentor®, or Allergan® Natrelle®, stay centered, move naturally, and feel like part of your body, with beautiful cleavage and upper-pole fullness, while maintaining long-term support.
Many patients who are not ideal candidates for Preservé may achieve a better result with this advanced technique.
Patients who want to add fullness and correct sagging typically need a breast lift with implants (mastopexy augmentation) to achieve their desired size, shape, and position.
Dr. Wall Jr. and Dr. Holly Wall developed the footprint elevating short-scar breast lift with implants to improve upon traditional mastopexy-augmentation procedures. By elevating the breast footprint, increasing upper-pole fullness, and reshaping the breast simultaneously, this technique can create more stable, aesthetically pleasing results for appropriately selected patients.
Instead of being set on a specific breast augmentation technique, consider a surgeon who can evaluate all available options and recommend the technique that best matches your unique anatomy and goals. At The Wall Center, Dr. Wall Jr. and Dr. Holly Wall have each performed over 5,000 breast augmentation and implant procedures and have personally overseen specialized training for Dr. Fruge.
