Who Needs It
Breast lift patients often fall into two main groups: mothers who don't like the look of their breasts after childbirth and breastfeeding, and women in their 40s or 50s who feel gravity has caused their breasts to sag. A breast lift addresses breast position and shape but will not enhance breast volume - for that, a woman may need to consider breast augmentation using an adjustable gel breast implant in Louisiana. Preparing for Your Breast Lift

The Surgery
A breast lift is usually performed under general anesthesia. We use the short scar breast lift technique exclusively (also called the vertical or lollipop lift), where the incision is made around the areola and then straight down to the breast crease. This technique, which requires an especially skilled surgeon, elimates the scar that runs along the breast crease and provides a more enhanced breast shape over the traditional anchor-shaped incision.
