Breast Lift
Many women in Louisiana consider a breast lift procedure to restore a more youthful form and shape. It's no secret that gravity, not to mention pregnancy and weight fluctuations, can take a toll on a woman's breast appearance. Thankfully, breast lift surgery can step in to reverse a sagging look.
Breast lifts elevate the breasts while creating a more flattering breast contour. To learn more about this procedure, request a consultation at The Wall Center for Plastic Surgery or call our office at (318) 562-1433. Conveniently located in Shreveport, we serve patients from Louisiana, Arkansas, and Texas, and offer a complete array of cosmetic surgery and skin care treatments through Jade MediSpa.
Who Needs It
Breast lift patients often fall into two main groups: mothers who don't like the look of their breasts after childbirth and breastfeeding, and women in their 40s or 50s who feel gravity has caused their breasts to sag. A breast lift addresses breast position and shape but will not enhance breast volume - for that, a woman may need to consider breast augmentation using an adjustable gel breast implant in Louisiana. Breast lift also will not substantially decrease breast volume, and many women find they need a breast reduction to achieve both their ideal breast size and position.

Case 254: Breast Lift
This 38 year old woman had 36 DDD cup breasts causing neck, back and shoulder pain. Due to her very large size, I had to incorporate a horizontal scar under her breasts to remove all of the skin allowing her breasts to rest on her abdomen and lift them up onto her chest area. Now she is proportional in size, yet still very feminine in shape.

Case 610: Breast Lift
This patient had neck, back and shoulder pain from her large, cumbersome breasts. Dr. Wall Jr. recommended a bilateral short scar breast reduction. Her operation included a vertical breast reduction with removal of excess breast tissue in the amount of 561 grams from the right breast and 686 rams from the left to relieve symptoms of shoulder and neck discomfort. The nipple areolar complex was also modified to a more appropriate location and size. She had immediate improvement in her pain and is now able to wear the kind of clothes that she has always wanted to. The Post Op pictures were taken 1 year after her surgery and her scars are already fading nicely but will continue to fade over time.

Preparing for Your Breast Lift
During your consultation, you should discuss your medical history in detail with your surgeon and tell us more about what you hope to accomplish through surgery. In some cases, your surgeon may recommend a short-scar breast lift with implants in order to achieve the results you want.
The Surgery
Real PatientShowcase Actual Patient
A breast lift is usually performed under general anesthesia. We use the short scar breast lift technique exclusively (also called the vertical or lollipop lift), where the incision is made around the areola and then straight down to the breast crease. This technique, which requires an especially skilled surgeon, elimates the scar that runs along the breast crease and provides a more enhanced breast shape over the traditional anchor-shaped incision.
Results
Most women are pleased with the results of their breast lift from The Wall Center. The procedure lifts the breasts higher on the chest, even without the support of a bra, in a very natural-looking way.
